Abdominal Compression Garment Please Help With My MRI Results?

Please Help with my MRI results? - abdominal compression garment

I have a sore lower back, then I am for a MRI. My doctor is on vacation, so I had the MRI results by fax to me. I'm not sure what the results mean. Please help me understand.

The CONU ends at L1 and shows a normal size and signal. N aneurysm of the abdominal aorta. No paraspinal masses. It was noted changes signal the end plate of bone on the bottom plate of the L4 and the upper end of the plate-L5 disc with dehydration. No fluid space is identified at this level. There is a small nipple ring seen at this level. The desiccation of the intervertebral disc L5-S1 right ring finger with a small tear paracentral also noted. The rest of the vertebral body height and signal alignment is a normal aspect. No abnormal signal is seen as a result, inversion recovery suggest acute fracture under compression or acute injury or acute cases.

On the L1-2 is the smallest facet hypertrophy, but no significant changes.

At L2-3 is a hypertrophy of the facets, but no significant changes.

At tthat the level of L3-4, the hypertrophy of the facets, but no significant changes.

At L4-5, is not wide Disk protrusions with facet hypertrophy of the ligamentum flavum thickening, and mild central spinal stenosis. No narrowing of the neural foramen.

At L5-S1 annular tear without broad Disk protrusions, and facet hypertrophy and thickening of the yellow ligament and mild central canal stenosis. There is mild bilateral, from left to right, closing the gaps.

CONCLUSION:

1. Degenerative disc disease at L4-5
2. Slight decrease in the holes left on the right side of L5-S1.
3. Mild central canal stenosis L4-5 vertebral column.
4. No acute or acute fracture under compression.
