We were on vacation in September and in our travels we have heard how expensive housing is in Oahu. I wonder why no one used caravan (trailer) parks and prefabricated houses in Hawaii. I asked, but nobody seemed to have a definitive answer. Is this something that the code or the islanders do not like the look or anything. I know that here in North Rhine-Westphalia, are we all storms and get a good stick, and built the houses. Just curious. It seems that you can significantly reduce your housing costs. Or must I do?
